The Duncurra Series currently include three full-length novels set in the medieval Scottish Highlands. Each novel is a complete, stand-alone story. While it’s best to read Highland Solution first, Highland Courage and Highland Intrigue, are completely independent and can be read in any order.

King David knows a weak clan, without a laird, can change quickly from a simple annoyance to a dangerous liability, and he cannot ignore the turmoil. The MacIan’s owe him a great debt, so when he makes Fingal MacIan laird of clan MacLennan and requires that he marry Lady Gillian, Fingal is in no position to refuse.
In spite of the challenge, Fingal is confident he can rebuild her clan, ease her heartache and win her affection. However, just as love awakens, the power struggle takes a deadly turn. Can he protect her from the unknown long enough to uncover the plot against them? Or will all be lost, destroying the happiness they seek in each other’s arms?
Look for the Duncurra Legacy series to begin Summer 2017, which will bring you the stories of some of the younger secondary characters. The first book will be Tomas: A Highland Redemption and feature Tomas from Highland Solution. If it has always bothered you that Ambrose Ruthven inherited Katherine’s birthright, you won’t want to miss this one. There will eventually be books for Ailsa from Highland Intrigue and perhaps Flan from Highland Courage.
For those who prefer to close the bedroom door, inspirational versions of Highland Solution, Highland Courage and Highland Intrigue, which have had all intimate content removed are available.

Constantly on the lookout for a new author. I have found her. I love series books and the duncarra series is fantastic. Read all three in two days. I look forward to more. Will start reading your next books but hope you continue with duncarra.

The MacKays who appear near the end of Highland Intrigue are the same MacKays in Highland Revenge and who you will see again in Highland Angels–just 20 years earlier. You may remember Fearghas and Ina Chisholm from Highland Solution. You will see them, 20-years younger, in Highland Angels too. 😉

I just finished my first read or rather listen of any of your work. I’d promised myself many-a-time. I’m glad I got to enjoy one of my favorite narrators, Paul Woodson in your production of HIGHLAND SOLUTION. It won’t be long until I dip my feet into the Duncurra world with HIGHLAND COURAGE. I’m glad that there will be more, because I really liked this series. But I’m curious, will there be Meriel or/and Rowan story?
Rowan got his happily ever after with Sine. And I hadn’t considered a story for Meriel but now that you mention it, I will have to think about it. There could be something there…

Wasn’t Ailsa supposed to end up with Dougal McKay but the blurb says Lucas grant
No, she was never meant for Dougal MacKay. Ailsa was 12 at the end of Highland Intrigue and had just fallen in love with Quinn MacKenzie–who married her sister Fallon. She was just 18 in the epilogue and we see this exchange between Gillian and Fingal:
Fingal stood at the window, cradling his new baby daughter in his arms. “My sweet wee lass, yer Aunt Ailsa will be the death of me.”
Gillian laughed. “Fingal, Ailsa wouldn’t let Ian or Duncan get hurt.”
“That’s not the point. She knows I don’t want them that close. Why does she insist on watching the men train anyway?”
“Fingal, can ye be that much of an eejit? She fancies herself in love.”
“Ye need to nip that in the bud.”
Gillian snorted. “I need to nip it in the bud? We are talking about my sister Ailsa aren’t we? I don’t think we need to worry. She falls in and out of love more often than we change the rushes in the great hall.”
So Ailsa was a bit boy-crazy.
She wasn’t intended for Lucas Grant initially either, but she got herself kidnapped and it changed everything. 😉

I just finished reading the third book in the series and I am so amazed that I couldn’t put them down till I finished the whole series in three days literally. I couldn’t help imagining a map of all the clans and their keeps that are involved. I hope this series does not stop.
I absolutely loved the plots and the flow of the stories and the sudden turn of events and how each character has a bit of a side story every now and then where they also get their conclusion… I loved every second of reading and it seems that I can’t stop praising. I will absolutely be on the look up
