I’m feeling a little sentimental today.
My first novel, Highland Solution was first released almost four years ago, on September 3, 2013. It was the story that had been swirling in my imagination for years. Many of the characters had existed for over thirty years before I found the time and courage to write them into a story and send it out into the world. And at the risk of sounding crazy they felt, and still do feel, very real to me. Katherine had the traits I value most in a person, kindness, compassion, generosity, tolerance and an incredible capacity to love. And while I love all of the heroines I have created, she is, and I think will always be, my favorite.
Benedict MacIan, who you will meet in The Choice is a direct descendant of Katherine and Niall.
Within weeks Highland Solution became the #1 bestseller on Amazon in medieval and Scottish historical romance. After its re-release in June of 2014, with the aid of BookBub, it became the #1 bestselling historical romance on both Amazon and Barnes & Noble.
Almost immediately I started receiving requests for stories about swoon-worthy secondary characters, Tadhg Matheson and Fingal MacIan. But many readers also wanted to know what happened to Tomas, the seven-year-old orphan Katherine brought with her to Duncurra and adopted. Well it has taken a few years for him to grow up. We saw a glimpse of him as a fourteen-year-old in the epilogue for Highland Intrigue but it is finally time for you to meet the man he has become. Tomas’s story, Highland Redemption, is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
And for those of you who hated that fact that Ambrose Ruthven got away with buying Katherine’s inheritance, you might enjoy knowing that karma has him in her cross-hairs.
Well I think the only to say is “YESSSSSssssssss!!!” I can’t wait! SOOO!! VERY Glad you finally wrote the story!! You are very very good!! Very Talented!! Keep them coming!! Have read them all so far!! Loved each one!! Thank You!!

I’ve loved him from the start, and I can’t wait to see how he’s grown
He had good parents and I think he turned out rather well. I hope you agree :).

Thomas touched my heart as a wee boy, with role models like Katherine & Neil He can be nothing but a wonderful compassionate Young Man.
You’re right Ann. I like Tomas and always have. He was sweet, energetic and resilient as a boy and that could only get better under the care and teaching of his adopted parents.

Just finished reading Highland Redemption and I absolutely loved it. I’ve read all of your Highland series books and enjoyed every one of them. Looking forward to many more stories . I like how you show so much compassion, kindness, love and forgiveness in your stories. Please don’t ever stop writing! Thank you.
Thank you for your kind words! Sometimes I think we are a little short of compassion, kindness, love, and forgiveness in this world. It doesn’t hurt to put a little more out there. ❤ Ceci
